My two worlds have finally collided! 10 weeks ago, My husband, Puppy Watson, and I sold our 3000 square foot house and moved into a 30 foot Grand Design Imagine 2600 RB Travel Trailer. With travel nursing, we did not want the maintenance and double expenses of a home when we are on location for a contract. So we decided that RV living gave us the flexibility to travel when and where we wanted, as well as giving us the luxury of ALWAYS being at home no matter where our home was parked!
It is a weird feeling knowing I am now in a brand new city, but inside, it feels like nothing has changed! I didn’t have to worry about packing or forgetting anything. I don’t have to worry about an apartment rented to me by the travel agency and what kind of condition it is in. I don’t have to worry about sharing an apartment with another traveler. I am comfortable and at home in my HOME in “Location 1”!
This weekend we will be exploring our surroundings and finding a grocery store and doing a test drive to my new work. I am nervous and excited all at the same time and relieved that we have finally made it to this point.
